Collection: Vittorio Prato

Born in 1946 in Desio, a small town near Milan. Graduated from the Art Institute of Cantù, he began working as a designer in 1965. He worked as design director for the most prestigious companies and for the most important Italian designers. Since 1976, he has worked as a designer and consultant for a large number of companies. He designed new mechanical workshop accessories for Beta Utensili; for Idea he created a new ergonomic armchair for dental surgeries; for Vaghi he produced the first office chair base in thermoplastic filled with microfiber. He was highly recommended at the 13th edition of the Compasso d’Oro (1984). In the field of design and consultancy, he is working with some important companies and architectural studios.
