Collection: Stefano Larotonda

Stefano Larotonda graduated in 2007 from the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio with Peter Zumthor. He has worked for Antonio Citterio and Partners (Milan, IT), East Architecture Landscape Urban Design (London, UK), and Arquint Hitz Architekten (Chiasso, CH). In 2009, he started his own practice in the fields of architectural projects, urban research, and design. He participates in national and international competitions, receiving the awards “Premio Giovani” from the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca, the first prize “Ridisegnare Como,” and the first prize “Riqualificazione della Piazza delle Erbea Vicenza.” He was selected by Casabella for the exhibition “Giovani architetti grattano il cielo.” Alongside his freelance profession, he curates exhibitions and lectures for public institutions, companies, and research institutes. With his friend, sculptor Alberto Gianfreda, he conducted workshops based on interdisciplinary research aimed at reading the territory. He collaborates as a teaching assistant at the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio for atelier Collomb. He is a member of the cultural department and councillor of Ordine degli Architetti PPC di Como.
