Collection: Paolo De Lucchi

Paolo De Lucchi was born in Padua in 1962 and graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1989. In 1990, he exhibited “The Interactive Table” at the Palazzo dell’Arte (Triennale di Milano) as part of the exhibition “The Party Game.” Between 1989 and 1993, he collaborated with “Sottsass Associati,” working on various architectural projects (Yuko House, Bishofberger House, Twin Dome City competition), interior design (Cementeria Merone offices, preparation for Uomomoda 1990 in Tokyo, exhibition of African objects “Kings of Africa” in Maastricht), and industrial design (Seiko watches, Valli & Valli handles, chair for Zanotta). In 1994, he began cooperating with Michele De Lucchi, participating in the development of architectural projects and surveys by directly managing the design of the new showroom for Olivetti in Ivrea, as well as events related to the Olivetti Annual General Shareholders meeting and workshops with Philips on the evolution of technology.

On January 1, 1998, architect Paolo De Lucchi founded the “De Lucchi Workshop.com” company in a small industrial warehouse, a design and architectural firm offering consulting and professional training.
De Lucchi, in addition to practicing as an architect, works as an industrial designer for Italian companies diversified in new design lighting fixtures. Through these partnerships, Paolo De Lucchi has developed deep knowledge of emerging design technologies and light management in various application areas: from residential to office environments and large shopping malls. Mr. De Lucchi also conducts training courses for professionals at many Italian universities and company offices. His professional activity also extends to lighting design for residential and retail spaces, restoration in offices, and outdoor areas. Over the years, the architect has worked with several important companies on designing franchising stores, showrooms, flagship stores, stands, and multi-brand stores for major Italian companies in both the clothing and leather and footwear industries.
