MrSmith Studio is a Design consultancy firm founded in 2004 by Marco Mascetti. In the quest for a globally comprehensible name and instinctive self-identification, MrSmith was born; overlapping the idea of the designer with that of the smith for the common ability to create and shape an idea by hand. In less than 15 years of activity, the Studio has been awarded over 21 international prizes: among the most important, the Estathé glass bottle, the Nutella glass and jar for Ferrero, the Cream and Basil Chairs for Calligaris. MrSmith has coined the definition “Design As An Input®”, which is the ability to anticipate the use of Design tools in a company, in order to exploit all their competitive potential. MrSmith's open-space Milan studio is a multidisciplinary workshop hosting smith-designers sharing a holistic approach to projects; under the direction of the not so mysterious MrSmith today represented by Marco Mascetti and Silvia Bassani Antivari
