Collection: Massimo Lorusso

Born in Bari in 1967.
In 1986, Lorusso moved to Florence, where he still lives and works, to study at the Faculty of Architecture, where he graduated with full marks, writing a thesis on the history of design. The time he spent at the Research and Development Centre of B&B Italia brought him into close contact with the production and organizational aspects of industrial design and was very important for his professional education. From 1992, he worked for three years with Architect Francesco Quinterio, creating graphics for many publications and serving as Quinterio's assistant lecturer in his History of Architecture course in Florence. During his university years, he worked with Architect Miranda Ferrara's office. He joined Arketipo in 1999 as manager of the technical department and worked on the design and setup of stands for the Milan International Furniture Exhibition and the Cologne Furniture Fair. In addition to that role, he has been working as a designer with Arketipo since 2006.
