Collection: Klemens Grund
Klemens Grund, born in 1982 in the Black Forest, learned the profession of a carpenter. In 2004, he studied at the Academy of Crafts, Gut Rosenberg in Aachen and graduated in 2007. In the same year, he earned the title of master carpenter. From 2007 to 2010, he worked as a master designer at the Brammertz joinery. From 2010 to 2013, he worked in the architecture studio of Peter Zumthor in Haldenstein. In 2014, he founded his design office in Cologne. He creates products and architectural projects. Today, Klemens Grund lives and works in Switzerland. His products are published and exhibited internationally, for example at IMM in Cologne, Salone del Mobile in Milan, DDW Eindhoven, CIFF in Shanghai, Neue Räume in Zurich. Klemens Grund has received several awards, including the NRW State Prize, the Abraham & Roentgen Prize, and the STYLEPARK CELECTED Award.
