Collection: Kihyun Kim

Born in South Korea in 1979, Kihyun Kim studied Design Product at the Royal College of Art and graduated in 2011. He has been working independently after RCA, specializing in industrial design across furniture, electronic products, and living accessories. Before studying at RCA, he worked for 3 years as an industrial designer and design researcher in a diverse range of fields including product, furniture, communication, and public design. Kihyun has shown a pragmatic approach to design briefs, presenting distinctive aspects and demonstrating versatility in individual research tasks. His design attitude is based on continuous exploration and embraces new typology, materiality, technology, and simplicity.
