Collection: Jonas Forsman

Jonas Forsman grew up in Småland, a region in southern Sweden famous for furniture production. He learned from an early age to save resources by using as little as possible and make the most out of it. This has become a guideline for him as a designer. He starts from the function and sees if he can solve it in a new way, often by using different materials or new mechanical solutions. Then he cuts away all unnecessary things and lets the function speak for itself. Jonas Forsman studied industrial design engineering in Gothenburg where he has his own studio. He has been awarded the Red Dot several times and Design S for his products.
