Enzo Calabrese, architect and designer, born in Brindisi, Italy, in 1961. He has his office in Pescara where he works and lives. He holds a PhD, is a researcher, and Professor in Architectural Composition at the Faculty of Architecture at University G.D’Annunzio. He is a leader of kei_en.enzocalabresedesignstudio © LTD. He was Assessor to Urban Planning, Visiting Researcher at the C.C.A.C. of San Francisco, College of Environmental and Landscape Design at University of California, Berkeley.
He has exhibited in particular: “Biennale di Architettura Giovani del Mediteraneo”, Rome; “Biennale di Architettura di Venezia” young section; “50+50 new generations” Milan, Graz, Prague, New York; Triennale di Milano “International Food Design”; “Italian Architect Under 50”; Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles; mentioned by MoMa N.Y., at the ICFF NY; Dessa Gallery in Ljubljana; XIII Compasso D’Oro prize and competition winner: won the Compasso D’oro 2014 prize and the EDIDA “International Design Award 2012”; mentioned by ADI INDEX Design for 2007; Tercas Prize; Europan 6 Prize; International Competition for the New High Speed Railway in Rome; Mammuth Theatre in Spoltore; New Theatre in San Salvo; New Park City in Torrenova, Rome.
