Collection: Emanuele Ricci

Emanuele Giovanni Ricci was born in the province of Treviso, Italy, in 1963.

After graduating from the Conegliano Veneto High School of Agriculture, he studied at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan and spent a training period in the studio of architect Gianfranco Frattini; he then began his career as a designer.

Idealism and research are the foundation of his thinking.

Thanks to his studies in botany, entomology, and technology scouting, he is able to decode and transfer many phenomena of the natural world into his projects.

In thirty years of work, he has developed his own language, where the modulation of light through forms and technical research plays an important role.

In 2015 he founded, with Alessandro Alberti, Enhance Vision System (EVS), an innovative start-up that develops and patents an optical joint capable of eliminating the blind spot created by a vehicle's A-pillar, without compromising its static safety. He alternates his work as a designer in his Milan studio with periods of retreat in the northern hills of Treviso, where he develops his artistic research.

Teaching and workshop in Italian and European institutes.
