Collection: Nicola Gardin
While studying at the University Institute of Architecture in Venice, Nicola Gardin created "Archinternational," a movement for the study and critique of architectural internationalism, organized conferences in collaboration with friends and students of Sds IUAV and Prof. Francesco Dal Co, Director of Casabella magazine, featuring internationally renowned architects such as: Arata Isozaki, Toyo Ito, Makio Hasuike, Shigeru Ban, Kazuyo Sejima, Todd Williams & Billie Tsien, Mansilla & Tunon, Alfredo Paya, Peter Eisenman, Daniele Bedini. With the latter, known as "the Space Architect" and interior designer of the International Space Station for ESA, he presented with colleague and friend Roger Z., in 2004 the IMS (international mars station) thesis, an inflatable pneumatic structure for life in an extreme environment: Mars. As an Architect, he began collaborating on Art Works such as Gaetano Pesce's Caravella Berti, Vittorio Sgarbi's sculpture for Women's Art, and worked with Artist Mino.L especially in the United Arab Emirates and Egypt. Over the years, he presented several lamps for Fabbian, Prearo, and other companies from Veneto but also ventured into the production of Industrial Design objects such as Mowo'x for Bsign or Titako for Unitech Italia.
Specializing in acoustics with the site of Radio Dimensione Suono, Anicaflash, Fox RCS, Radio Deejay, he applies his expertise to the creation of complex interiors for private Custom Homes Villas as well as the Adriatic Palace Hotel, Torricella Hotel, and finally collaborating on the realization of the Ritz Carlton in Astana's Talan Tower, SOM project.
