Collection: Luca Scacchetti

Luca Scacchetti was an architect and designer. His expertise ranged from urban planning to architectural design of buildings, from interior architecture to individual objects. Luca Scacchetti was a professor of Architectural Design at the Politecnico University of Architecture in Milan from 1976 to 1986 and Director of the Architecture Department at the European Institute of Design from 1990 to 1995; he taught at the Politecnico in Milan and at the Accademia di Brera. Combining theory with practice, he integrated his academic position with professional practice and in 1978 he founded his own firm. In the design field, he collaborated with leading Italian and worldwide manufacturers of furniture, office supplies, lighting, bathware, coatings, and luxury items. His works have been published in the most important specialized magazines. Five monographs have been dedicated to his projects.
